The
following are dates of meetings people
using the chat room have arranged.
Please note the meetings are put on this site as a service
to the people using this site, no responsibility can
be taken by the administrators of the MS247 site for
places, dates, times, or the people attending the meetings.

Meetings in the Worcestershire Area
The Malvern MS Group has a weekly Thursday exercise
session, this is supervised by 2 MS physio nurses and
has a 'proper' exercise trainer. The meetings are in
6 week chunks, with approx 1 week off every 6, depending
on school holidays etc., held at the Malvern Evangelical
Church (no praying is involved in the session!), Picersleigh
Road, from 10.30am prompt to 12.00 noon. The cost is
£12.00 for each 6 week chunk, the price includs
a cup of tea or coffee at the end of the session. Sessions
comprise of: Warm up (light streching etc) Circuit and
mat exercise, wheelchairs users are catered for (so

Worcester Support Group, have regular information days
etc., Thursdays in the Doris Hunt Room, Green Centre
(WR2 5QS) 12:00 to 13:30, £1 entrance per person,
optional raffle £1, tea coffee 35p, more information

Meetings in the Scunthorpe area
On the second Monday of every month there is an
MS Social, the only cost to you is the purchase of your
drinks from the bar abd the raffle tickets. For further
details contact Leigh Knight, Leigh is a moderator on
here and can also be contacted on facebook.
Also for those in the Scunthorpe area, there is a weekly
Monday morning session, this is a chance to meet others
and discuss any issues, to have a cuppa, speak to the
local MS nurse, have contact with a neuro physio and
to take part in a opilates class. Again the cost for
this is a donation towards the drinks and your raffle

Weekly meet at Swanscombe.
The Drop-In Is every Thursday 11.00 am till 3.00 pm
at the St Peter & St Paul church hall in Swanscome Street,
Swanscombe Kent, DA10 0JZ, a couple of mins from Bluewater
shopping centre. Open to everyone either the person
with MS or friends & family. It has car parking & easy
access for wheelchairs. There is tea & coffee avaliable
etc. food can also be ordered (before 12.00) from the
local bakers, or bring your own. It caters for a wide
age range, a good mix people every week. For more info
